There's this Japanese Udon place in Uptown that the hubby and I have been going to quite often which I've just realized that I've yet to blog about it.

Although they specialize in Udon Kobo (they make their own noodles in store - fresh and twice daily), my all time favourite is still their Salmon Don because each slice is thick and satisfying! The best part is, it comes in 2 different sizes - Mini (RM12.90) & Big (RM20.90). What you see above is the Mini portion which works perfectly for me!

While I usually have Salmon Don, the hubby would enjoy his udon. So far we've tried Suigyoza Udon (which we totally forgotten about taking photos) and Nikujiru Tsuke Udon (RM17.90), photo above. According to him, the Nikujiru Tsuke Udon does more justice to the udon as he is able to enjoy the bouncy texture and original flavour of the noodles.

The texture of their Chawanmushi (RM6.90) is really smooth. As soft and smooth as tofu that it breaks into tiny pieces easily. So, be gentle when you're about to enjoy a spoonful of chawanmushi. :D

I would say that their Gyoza (RM8.90) is the best that I've tried so far! Pan seared till perfection with light crisp and is awesomely good. They are pretty generous with the portion of stuffing. Not to mention juicy too!

Overall, I would say that I'd return for its quality food, generous portion and NO MSG flavouring!
