Take A Step | Ipoh Mali 1.0 Episode One

Monday, August 11, 2014

Just got back from ipoh yesterday evening from my two days two nights food trip. Ate so much this trip that I was mumbling "there goes my diet, there goes my diet, there goest my diet..."

We left kl at about 10pm and arrived two hours later with our first stop for supper. It is my very first time going to ipoh despite being a Malaysian for 25 (almost 26) long years.

We arrived at the very famours Tuck Kee Restaurant and there were 2 restaurants with similar names "Tuck Kee" and "Sun Tuck Kee". While we were trying to figure out if it was the same, one of the customers at Sun Tuck Kee told is "NO! Its different. Go there. Take my word for it!"

Which we ended up at the right Tuck Kee restaurant. Make sure you go to the right one as well alrite?

Tuck Kee is famous for their moonlight flat noodles or also known as "yuet kwong hor" as well as their boiled baby octopus. their yuet kwong hor is really smooth and velvety! yumss!~ for someone like me who rarely takes baby octopus, their baby octopus is really delicious and i couldn't stop eating despite their simple way for cooking it!
